Program Overview

Formation for a Lifetime of Ministry

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) prepares students for pastoral ministry, missions, chaplaincy, and other church-related vocations. The program may be completed in three years and unites rigorous biblical and theological study with practical ministry formation at WMCGW.

Graduation Requirements

To be awarded the M.Div. degree, students complete 92 credit hours of courses (including a 2-credit thesis/Credo), finish the prescribed curriculum with a C+ average or above, and demonstrate spiritual fitness for Christian ministry.

Admission typically requires a college/university degree or the Bachelor of Theology (or equivalent). Graduates of related master’s programs may need remaining semester hours.
