WMCGW student educational records are considered confidential in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Students have the right to inspect and review their educational records and to request correction of records they believe are inaccurate or misleading, by submitting a written request to the academic office. Members of the administration, faculty, or counseling staff may access student records only for educational, administrative, or statistical purposes. WMCGW will not release a student’s personally identifiable information to the public without the student’s written consent, except as otherwise permitted by law. Students who believe their FERPA rights have been violated may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education’s Student Privacy Policy Office.
