Professional Excellence in Ministry

The Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) provides the highest professional education for students already engaged in ministry. It bridges theological reflection and practical ministry skills, helping pastors and missionaries evaluate their work, overcome obstacles, and implement strategies that strengthen the church and the mission field.

Graduation Requirements

To earn the D.Min. degree, students successfully complete 48 credit hours: 42 hours of coursework and 6 hours of project/thesis writing. The degree is completed in a minimum of three years and a maximum of six years.

Admission requires an M.Div. (or equivalent) from an accredited institution, typically with at least three years of ministry experience and a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale for master’s-level work.
