Institutional Objectives

In fulfillment of its mission, World Missions College of the Greater Washington pursues the following institutional objectives:

• Provide Christ-Centered Academic Excellence — Deliver biblically grounded, academically rigorous undergraduate and graduate programs that cultivate theological understanding, ministry competence, critical thinking, and professional excellence.
• Integrate Faith and Learning — Foster the integration of biblical truth with academic disciplines, enabling students to develop a Christian worldview that informs their scholarship, vocation, leadership, and service.
• Cultivate Spiritual Formation and Christian Character — Nurture spiritual maturity, Christlike character, ethical integrity, and servant leadership through biblical instruction, discipleship, worship, prayer, and Christian community.
• Prepare Leaders for Ministry and Global Mission — Equip pastors, missionaries, educators, counselors, and Christian leaders with the knowledge, practical skills, and cross-cultural competence necessary to serve effectively in churches, ministries, and communities throughout the world.
• Promote Student Success and Lifelong Learning — Provide high-quality instruction, academic advising, mentoring, and student support services that encourage academic achievement, personal growth, degree completion, and a lifelong commitment to learning and faithful service.
• Strengthen Partnerships for Kingdom Impact — Collaborate with churches, denominations, ministries, educational institutions, and community organizations to expand opportunities for ministry preparation, experiential learning, and the advancement of the Great Commission.
• Foster a Christ-Centered Learning Community — Cultivate a diverse and supportive academic community characterized by mutual respect, biblical values, intellectual inquiry, cultural awareness, and a shared commitment to serving Christ faithfully.
